As Lachman explores, Swedenborg’s work opened up a radically liberal and refreshing ideal of religion. The great mystic saw humanity, and all of nature, as phenomena emerging from the “spiritual world,” and man as a vessel for divine influences.  This vision inspired Western seekers to see man as a product of spiritual phenomena, and thus a being intimately connected with the cosmos. It is a practitioner-friendly device used in clinical and forensic assessment, and can guide selection of pretreatment goals. This 67-item, paper and pencil questionnaire divides into eight sections of operationally defined patterns of ACOAs and ACOFAs. Each question receives a "yes" or "no" reply. Sections divide into Feelings, Relaxed, Loyal, Control, Relations, Drug & Alcohol, Fear, and Parents. Questions evoke responses directly related to experiences in family and interpersonal functioning. Test standardization 1998 included 300 subjects. A second standardization completed in 2010 consisted of 1000 subjects, split in three groups (ACOA, ACOFA, or controlled).Results compellingly showed the clinical application of expanding baseline data on examined subjects, and both the simplification and transformation of their complex symptoms into realistic therapy objectives.

This volume features 51 word search puzzles in LARGE PRINT. Each puzzle contains a 15x15 puzzle grid with 15 words to find!

All of the puzzles in this book are in the classic word search format. Words/phrases are hidden in the grids and are read in any direction: up, down, forward, backward, and diagonally. They may (and do) overlap and cross each other. All spaces and special characters are removed when a word/phrase is placed in the grid. For example, "Adam's apple" would appear as "ADAMSAPPLE". Of course, solutions are also provided but we encourage you to try to find all the words yourself.

The Holloway family are at home at the beginning of the long weekend when they are invaded by a gang of four men. The gang know of the cellar and expect that that is where loot is. David's 'wives' are tortured to make him show the entrance to the cellar - which is disappointing - there is no gold or other valuables just the large collection of BDMS devices that the family have bought or built over the years. In the absence of tangible wealth the gang decide to persuade David to make wire transfers of twenty million pounds to their off-shore accounts. They have flights booked out of Britain on Monday when the returning holiday traffic is at its heaviest and there is less likelihood of them being traced. In the meantime they decide to lock the doors and take up residence in the house - and pass the time by tormenting the wives on the range of devices.
